Minister of SMEs and Startups, Han Seong-sook, hosted a roundtable with six AI startups selected as finalists for the "OpenData X AI Challenge," alongside various private-sector AI experts at the Seoul Global Startup Center. During the roundtable, participants shared their experiences in developing and implementing AI solutions using field data currently in use by public institutions. They also engaged in an open discussion regarding the potential application of these technologies within various policy environments. Minister Han Seong-sook remarked, “This AI Challenge has served as a catalyst for identfying diverse AI solutions that can be readily applied to the field.” She added, “We will remain committed to maintaining a continuous dialogue with startups to ensure that AI technology leads to tangible achievements on the ground through sustained policy support.”
